Who is eligible to apply?

Eligible candidates must hold a college degree with strong academic performance and some science coursework, including two semesters each of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The ideal candidate would also have experience working with middle or high school youth and have a passion for education. We are looking for people with a growth mindset, a strong desire to learn, strong social and communication skills, adaptable, and loves working with people.

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until April 29, 2017.

What happens after I apply?

Are you a Chicago student or parent interested in our youth program?

Youth recruitment will occur in August and September 2017. We are looking for Chicago Public School students with an 8th grade GPA between 2.5-3.5. Eligible students must be enrolled as 9th grade students at Mather High School and be in the AVID program. Any questions can be directed to Julianne Hatfield at j-hatfield@northwestern.edu.
